Mens Volleyball shuts out Bluefield Rams during final regular season game

Laurinburg, N.C. - The St. Andrews men's volleyball team shut out the visiting Bluefield Rams Friday night during their final game of the regular season, 3-0. 

Hazem Nabil led the Knights offense with 15 of the team's 42 kills, followed by Hugo Gonzalez-Gutierrez with eight kills. Deonte Brewer and Khushpreet Sandhu contributed six kills of their own.  Career assist record holder Dakota Hotaling did not disappoint, logging 37 of the team's 40 assist during the three sets, stabilizing the Knights offense. 

Alex Vasquez-Sanchez led the way with 12 digs on the other side of the ball, while Hotaling followed up with five digs. Nabil added four kills to add to his impressive offensive performance. 

The final score of the three sets were, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17. With the win, the Knights finish the regular season with a record of 21-9.
